It's the first day of the New Year when we all start to plan for the rest of the year.
Or sometimes the best of intentions let us down and we neglect to plan anything.

In the meantime do you make these promises to yourself:
- To give up smoking
- To give up drinking
- To lose weight
- To move house
- To move jobs
- To make more money
- To save more money
- To emigrate
- To dress better
- To exercise more
But the one thing that makes you different this year compared to last year is whether you took consistent action on your New Year promises to yourself from 2006 to today.
So make one of the promises for this year the promise that you'll take consistent and continuing action on your resolutions or goals.
